ποΈ Eve's notes...
β
Itβs (almost) Silly Season, and I am here to wish you Happy Holidays, and tell you about some exciting things happening with me, and with rehealth.co.za, next year. But first I want to thank you for being such a stellar audience, and for welcoming this newsletter into your inbox. I really do appreciate you!

π News #1:
I am (finally!) partnering with a brokerage! After years of resisting, and specifically not becoming a medical aid broker, I am now changing direction and am going to be the best broker you have ever heard of π. I am partnering with my dear friend Ginette de Villiers who has been in the industry for years, and is pure dynamite. Together, we are going to turn the healthcare brokerage world on its head.
β
βWhat does this mean for you? If you appoint us as your brokers (free!) you will get top notch advice on how to choose the right medical aid plan, how to choose the right gap cover, how to get the most out of your benefits, and how to save money. And when I say save money, I mean possibly R10,000s / year even if you are on a hospital plan. I know my stuff. Ginette really knows her stuff. Even if we aren't able to save you money (you'd be the first!) we will still offer you stellar service.
β
I will let you know more about the joining process early next year, but if you want to reserve a one-on-one consult slot, you can just hit reply to this email and let me know you are interested.
β
And the best news? You never have to pay out of pocket for your medical aid broker. The commission brokers earn is already included in your current premium (yes, even if you don't have a broker). The medical aid either hands it over to a broker or keeps it (!). It's actually your choice! I donβt think itβs a difficult choice at all.
β
Ginette and I are have very ambitious goals for the brokerage, and very solid plans on how to make it happen. If you are an expert medical aid broker and think you might want to join us, please send me your CV (eved@rehealth.co.za).

π News #2:
This newsletter will be less frequent in 2026. Possibly just monthly, with a more one-on-one newsletter going to our clients as needed. Not to worry...even if you are not a client (but why not?) you will still have access to the website and this newsletter, and I will continue to share tips on how to make medical aid work for you. You can always email me too.

πNews #3:
I am launching a new newsletter, The Daily Shift, aimed at helping us South Africans live a healthier and happier life with a focus on health, wealth, relationships and wellness. We will learn why and how to take action, using local resources (and our medical aid, if applicable) while learning from experts in each field. Examples of topics covered:
- What is a continuous glucose monitor, should you get one and will medical aid pay for it?
- Are peptide βinfusion barsβ legit, which peptide does what, and what are the costs?
- The pros and cons of doing a full MRI scan as a preventative screening measure for disease and illness, and how to get one if you decide itβs right for you
- Why our children are experiencing a social crisis, and how we can help them
- How to correctly prepare financially for rising healthcare costs during retirement years
β
If a topic resonates, you will have clear action steps with local service providers, and specific people to contact. The Daily Shift is a 5 minute, life-changing read, and you will get it in your inbox from January. I am extremely excited by this, and almost wish the holiday was already over so we could start tomorrow. :-)

π News #4..
βRehealth.co.za is getting new features in 2026!
- We are launching the most comprehensive and patient-friendly health service directory in the country;
- Every medical aid plan on the site will have automatic suggestions of the best gap plan cover for that plan (no more overwhelm!);
- We are going to compare gap covers;
- We are going to compare hospital insurance plans;
- We are going to compare closed medical schemes;
- And we will offer you instant help via Whatsapp, even if you are not our brokerage client
β
Soβ¦lots happening, and weβre just getting started!
β
Have a wonderful break (if you are lucky enough to have one), and enjoy the downtime. 2026 is going to be a wild ride, one way or the other.
β
Stay healthy, stay safe and I will see you in January 2026.
